People & Culture Lead

We’re seeking someone to steward Alto’s internal culture as we grow. You’ll design people practices that reflect our values

Alto is a boutique consultancy supporting leadership teams through moments of change, growth, and uncertainty. We work closely with founders and senior leaders who value clarity, discretion, and long-term thinking over quick fixes.

As Alto continues to grow, we’re looking for a Head of Growth to help shape how the firm evolves—thoughtfully, sustainably, and with intent.

This is not a traditional “growth at all costs” role. It’s an opportunity to define growth in a way that aligns with Alto’s values, culture, and long-term vision.


The Role


As Head of Growth, you’ll be responsible for guiding Alto’s commercial growth across positioning, demand, partnerships, and narrative. You’ll work closely with the leadership team to translate our point of view into a clear, credible presence in the market.

You’ll balance strategy with execution—owning direction while remaining close to the work.


What You’ll Do


Define and evolve Alto’s growth strategy across brand, content, partnerships, and referrals

  • Shape how Alto communicates its value to leadership teams and decision-makers

  • Build thoughtful, low-noise approaches to demand generation aligned with our values

  • Work with senior consultants to turn insight and experience into compelling thought leadership

  • Identify and develop long-term partnerships and trusted channels

  • Use data as a guide—not a driver—balancing insight with intuition

  • Ensure growth feels intentional, sustainable, and human


What We’re Looking For


Experience leading growth, marketing, or commercial strategy in a consultancy, studio, or professional services environment

  • Comfort working with senior stakeholders and leadership audiences

  • Strong strategic thinking paired with clear written and verbal communication

  • A calm, considered approach to decision-making

  • An appreciation for nuance, context, and long-term outcomes

  • Someone who values quality over volume and depth over speed
